About me

I joined this service after my best friend passed away. During her funeral, I thought to myself, "I could do this!" A few months later, my life changed when I read about civil celebrants in a novel and looked it up on Google and thought, "I can really do this!"

My background is quite diverse. I have always preferred different ways of living and healing, such as alternative lifestyles, natural medicine, and owning a health food store.

Later on, I became a social worker and after 25 years, I decided that in retirement, I wanted to pursue something closer to my beliefs. I trained as a reflexologist and masseuse, became a Reiki Master, and learned Shamanic Energy Healing and Pathways with The Healing Tree Centre in Launceston, Cornwall.
